This online tool is designed to help users create bespoke consumer units that perfectly match their requirements, saving time and simplifying the ordering process. With a focus on usability and efficiency, it’s designed to meet the needs of professionals who value both quality and convenience.
Accessible on both mobile and desktop versions of the Lewden website, the configurator provides three main configuration options: the RCBO Consumer Unit, Dual Row RCBO Consumer Unit, and Dual RCCB Consumer Unit. At the end of every configuration, users can readily request a quote for either a pre-assembled unit ready for installation or list of individual components for flexible assembly.
Each option comes pre-fitted with a 100A DP main switch and a Type 2 SPD, ensuring robust performance and safety.
Three Tailored Solutions:
- RCBO Consumer Unit: Users can select between round and rectangular knockout arrangements, with options for 5-18 usable ways and two colour choices. The drag-and-drop interface makes it easy to add RCBOs, AFDDs, and DIN rail blanks.
- Dual Row RCBO Consumer Unit: Offering 21-39 usable ways in classic white, this option is ideal for more extensive installations. The same straightforward process applies, allowing users to customise their unit and receive configuration design, datasheets and details in just a few clicks.
- Dual RCCB Consumer Unit: Designed for cheaper but more complex setups, this option supports up to three high integrity circuits. Users can choose between 8-17 usable ways and select from a range of MCBs, RCBOs, AFDD-RCBOs, RCDs, and blanks to create a configuration that meets their specific needs.
Streamlined Process and Comprehensive Documentation
After completing their design, users can access a detailed overview, including a list of part numbers and product datasheets, all in one place. These can be easily printed or downloaded in various formats, ensuring that all necessary information is readily available.
