Do you need to install surge protection on your next project? Protection against transient overvoltages (or surge protection as it is commonly known) has become an increasingly important area of electrical installation. The requirements to install it have been a part of BS 7671 for a long time. However increased stringency in the regulations mean that it is required in more installations than ever.
